This workshop will provide an in-depth opportunity for schools of nursing to
evaluate their readiness for the Center of Excellence designation. FAQs will
be reviewed, and the purpose and benefits of the award, the process of readiness
assessment, the application process, and award
designation will be discussed. Best practices of previous award winners will
be shared. The participants will break off into workgroups specific to the three
award categories for further discussion and evaluation. Participants are encouraged
to come prepared to work on ideas about and outcomes of excellence in their
institutions and to consider how to translate such practices into an application
for COE.
