| Thank you for your interest in obtaining National League for Nursing
(NLN) approval for a continuing education program. The NLN is proud
to be a CE (Continuing Education) provider that is approved by the
International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET)
and uses the criteria and guidelines designated by that organization
as a basis for review of applications.
In light of the NLN goal to promote the professional growth and
continuous quality improvement of nurse educators, the goals of
the CE Provider Program reflect the needs of those stakeholders.
The approval process is now limited to continuing education
programs that promote development of the faculty role.
The NLN accepts applications from schools of nursing, NLN Constituent
Leagues, and those other organizations with which we have a strategic
alliance. Applications from other organizations will not be reviewed.
In order to help you understand the standards of excellence we
are expected to uphold when approving programs and to help you prepare
applications that will be reviewed successfully, we have prepared
a number of comprehensive of documents. A list of these materials
that can be downloaded is at the bottom of this page.
We would enjoy working with you as you develop continuing education
programs. If you have any questions about the program review criteria
or the application process in general, please feel to contact us.
